Maybe it is because you haven't moved a muscle in a week. (Dr. McCoy in a 'Time for Yesterday')

Ok guys I am home. I am getting dizzy easily and my entire back hurts but other than that I feel fine. Shoot it was only my head that hit the concrete.

I won't relay my entire experience but I definitely sympathize (?) with Rhon now. I don't think I should be so mean to my characters. It kind of comes back to haunt me.

Anyways since I am at it I might as well tell you the answer to my question a while back.
Picture I drew Sorry I couldn't remember how to make it right side up

Yellow flowered dress I made

Pink flowered dress I made

A bunch of the dresses the second and forth I made

And here is the answer, that last one is my black and white and red all over dress I was going to add a  red pocket but I ran out of time.

Note if any words are misspelled I will tell you upright my head is still spinning a bit and I cannot for the life of  me think straight.

Prayer Request

This is Kendra, V's big sister.

We just received a call from the horse therapy place where V volunteers on a weekly basis saying that she fainted.

They think she had a seizure, so they're taking her to the hospital, where our Gma is going to meet her. We would appreciate prayers.

V doesn't handle hospitals very well, ever since our Grammy died, so please keep that in mind.

I need to go pack the littles, so ...

Why can't we get through spring without someone in our family going to the hospital?????

Dazhi has the board!

Hey guys, Don't tell V but I have stolen her computer for a bit... Ok so she will find out just as soon as this publishes.

My book if you look right is at twenty thousand words and I am at a very awkward point in my life. The day I get out of Eline her back story. ;D Let's just say at the moment I am in trouble.

Kendra (V's older sister) just asked how long the book is if I looked wrong... Well  Kendra. I am talking about right as in right verses left not right versos wrong.

And... Ut oh. I hear V putting away her Violin so I better scoot before I am discovered. If you have any questions please Email V. at V.KathieArdnek7@gmail.com Bye!

Look Right

So after three days of day camp, a day out in the yard working with my best friend, and hiding in my room today I think I shall pop in to say, HI.

I will tell you that the camp was bad... Well actually it was a lot of fun. It was a camp on American Heritage done by the Frontier girls group in my area. (a ton of fun)

I enjoyed the American Dances part best. (probably because I like to dance.) Not waltzing or anything like that, we did a line dance and a square dance. (So much fun.)

Yesterday I decided to give you guys a hint of where I am in my first draft of The rise of the Dazy so if you look right, at the top is my word count. I will try to update it at least once a week.

Also I have overhead a couple of my characters discussing doing their own posts on here. I don't know who or where or when. but Elsie said I was being a bit lazy in the posting department. *chuckle*

Well I have stuff to do and people to see so I have to run.

Question: What is Black and White and Red all over. Find out in my next post. (that I do)

A Quick HI

Hey guys, since it is a bit unlikely that I will be getting on in a couple of days I am popping in to say a quick hi.

We will tomorrow be going to a church sewing for orphans thing. Then Sunday is of course church. I am playing my Violin in church now so I doubt I will be on due to the fact that I am a introvert and will be doing my best to hide in my room for the rest of the day.

Then over the following three days I will be going to American heritage Boot camp. Which will be interesting since one of the teachers is from London. (I will be writing a report for school and it will show up on my other blog.)

Then Thursday I have crops to plant and more people to see.

Then Friday will be calm to wind us up into a very hectic Saturday filled with second hand shopping. FUN.... Really, I cannot give you a ton of details on that but in town the right for life group does a yearly garage sale where there will be a fill a bag for ten dollars sale at the end, and since I am a semstriss I can take skirts that the elastic is shot in and make them useful for the littles or in some cases ME.

So I find this thing a WHOLE lot of FUN! There will also be some of my other favorite things; hats, old hats. And SHOES, though I doubt many will fit but still it is fun to go look at all the crazy shoes there are.

Can you tell I enjoy shopping?

Then it will be Sunday again and I will probibly hide once more and not come out of my shell till Tuesday. Sometimes I hate being a introvert.

Ain't Nuthin' like a surprise!

Hey folks! This last week I read a really great book called

I loved the way she went at this book, the story was awesome and instructive. (I am  home-schooled and I really don't know what goes on in a real school.) But from what I have seen and read she did a great job. She interviewed a ton of people and added in their input into the story both supporting her view and not. A LOT of the interviews were repetitive but still very well done.

The story was about a girl who really hates what is going on in her school so she wants to do something about it including just getting as far from the system as possible. For a public school based book the language was very clean and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Well at the end of the book it has her blog so I went to go check it out. Here this lady has so many books published but  has no followers (Ok she has three including myself). So I am (without her knowing it) sharing her blog so it doesn't look so lonely when people come and visit after reading her book.

Currently  she has her book Egg Hunt is free.

Here is her blog, I haven't read the book yet but as soon as I do I will let you know what I think of it.

Our Typical Trio

It is now the end of February... (Really?) Sigh and time for another snip-its  This month I wrote 5311 words on the Dazy story and 2265 words on my personal story and read 4 novella and 2 novels. (novel concept)  so I have been busy just not on my blog.  I also wrote four more songs. But I will wait to share the lyrics till I have them how I want them.

Well without anymore to do, my snip-its.

I opened my eyes, and screamed. Yes Brave ole’ me, who is willing to take on a snake screamed when she found herself in a small octagonal room surrounded by people all dressed more or less the same.
The Rise of the Dazy: The legend of Queen Dazy

Nobody sees this girl next morning; nobody sees her slip to the barn hackamore in hand.
It is still so early that not even the birds are awake but still she is here. The small gray pony knickers to her as she approaches, "Hey girl!" she whispers as she rubs the black snip. She then quickly catches the pony and slips the hackamore onto her long warm face, then rains in hand she brushed the mare then slipped a pad and surcingle onto his back then hopped on herself.
Galloping through the trees she let her joy escape with a hearty giggle. As soon as she is sure she is out of sight of  the houses she moves into a two point then stands upright her feet on the pad her arms outstretched.
"Compass!!!" One of her cousins yells startling her, she losses her balance and plummets towards the ground.
Compass (my personal story)

Finally a large man with a thick black beard stepped forward and introduced himself as Captain Hedrick. I frowned, Eline smiled, Rhon fainted; yep we were our typical trio.

I was made for a mission,
I was made to play a Position ,
I was made to go where God wants me to go!
"I was made", Song I wrote

For some time that next morning I just lay there in bed wondering where I was for I had forgotten. It was a very plain room; a bunk bed in one corner with a desk in another and a closet in another. It had white walls and wooden floors and all in all very plain.

And I think I will stop there, most of what I wrote isn't to good, (writers block will do that to you) Oh well there is still so much to do. I think I will show you what else I am working on... but not now. When I am finished probably.

A Valentine challenge.

Just As I Am One of the blogs I just ran across is doing a ... challenge. I think that is the word I am looking for.

I will have you know that I am not a big Romantic, (despite what Kenj will tell you) I think kisses are yuck, guys are wimps,  flowers belong outside, and I don't have room for stuffies. I know other people enjoy it, it isn't for me. But I will go ahead and do the challenge simply because it sounds like fun.

1. White chocolate or milk/dark chocolate?

Well for me if it is in my possession it is gone. But if you love me you will make sure it doesn't have milk

2. Tea or Coffee?

Personally both. Add a bit of stevia (a sweetener) and I am good to go. I will have them both cold or hot.

3. Movie or book on a night-in?

Hummm... I am more of a listener that a reader but recently I don't care. We only just got a new TV (the other did not like to behave)

4. Rom-com or a tear-jerker?

I don't get jokes, kisses grouses me out and I don't like crying. Personally I like SCI-FI but that isn't a option.

5. Who is the first literary couple to come to your mind?

Humm.... Shasta/Cor and Aravis. (from the Horse and his boy

6. Who is the first *movie* couple that comes to your mind?

MOVIE!!! Okay let me see, I don't watch movies that often. Flynn Rider and Rapunzel.

7. Roses or chocolate?

A big bouquet of pens with a chocolate kiss. Okay I am weird but with my pollen allergies and mold allergies it just ain't safe to do real flowers.

8. Fancy dinner in a 4-star restaurant or a simple picnic?

Fancy dinner! I rarely go out to eat but sure do LOVE it. But I would insist that one of my siblings come too. I wouldn't trust myself out with a guy. At least not unsupervised I don't take hints very well. I would need someone to let me know when he was joking or being serous.

9. Dream wedding scenario: outdoor family affair, or a formal church wedding & reception at a 5-star hotel?

Haven't thought of it. Probably outdoor family affair.

10. What was the last love song you listened to?

Forever and Ever Amen. A country song I have listened to since I was six.

11. Favorite real-life/celebrity couple?

Favorite real-life? My grandparents? I think it is just a bunch of mushy stuff.

12. One piece of advice about love:

Love is a verb, not a noun. (read first Corinthians 13) and don't jump in till you are ready for a commitment.

Character Encounter: Rhon

via pinterest

Kat (my BFF) and I are hiding. And from what you ask, from the fact that this is my sweet sixteen and mom has decided to let the kids do a Easter egg hunt. IT'S JULY!

We can see the kids in the garden looking among the neat rows of beans for the eggs while the two of us giggle away down by the four-tree. We see one of Kat's sibs fall so she runs to go cheer them up.

I sit back looking up into the branches above my head for several seconds.

"Happy birthday Princess V!" I hear I sit up to see the smiling face of Dazy tailed by a slightly younger Red headed girl who I know to be her little sister.

"hey Dazy, Hey Rhon, So glad you could make it!"

Rhon looks a bit frightens of all the other people running about and takes her sister's hand tight in both of hers.

Dazy smiles and encouragingly pushes her towards the fun. But alas she does not go. "Rhon is a bit shy." she tells me.

I nod remembering that day I met her, she had disappeared into a pile of stuffed toys to escape the introduction. "You can't blame her for being shy." I say. "You guys kind of grew up in the middle of nowhere."

Dazy nods, "Yep and meeting new people never happened."

"Well, Let's find her a bag and get her in on the hunt then it will be time for cake."

I lead the two over to where we have stashed the bags and watch as Dazy works with Rhon. Though she is but three years younger in this crowd Rhon seems much younger.

Finally though Rhon starts to enjoy herself. My cousin Grub1 even helps her reach a high up egg that we stashed in a tree.

Kat, Dazy, and Kendra finally joins me and we count up the eggs to make sure we have them all.

(no mom this is not a hint of what I want to do for my Bday this year, personally I haven't a clue)

Anybody want to suggest a theme for my sweet sixteen?

The Snake did not!

And January is finished, (yes mom I just started a paragraph with a And) January is DONE! And Now I can tell you what I have accomplished  *crickets* OK not much but I do have a little bit to put down.

Udiah wasn't sure how long she had been lying there when she awoke. Somehow during the capture they must have knocked her and Zelphie both out. Where ever they were it was entirely to dark for her to see anything.
-Akeaka-

She stared from one man to the other the color completely draining from her face. “I had better deliver the duck before it regains contousness and we have something fowl loose in the house.” With that she fled the room, both men roaring with laughter behind her. As she fled she could hear her father saying “Always was a shy one.”
-Cloaked-

Song looked out over the mountains, her hair whipping about her like waves on a restless sea, though she was nothing but restless. She stood their hands relaxed at her sides her eyes closed, she was content; Content with her parent’s choice of ruler, content with their choice of home.
-I Will Sing-

I took a deep breath then ever so slowly slipped the wire ring around the snake’s neck… Well I probably should skip the messy details because I know little girls will read this and I do not want to scare them. I will let you know I lived, the cat lived, Rhon lived, and the snake did not, it however was bagged up into the snake bag and hung safely outside on a hook to await the woodcutter to help deal with it from there.
-Dazy's story (still needs a title)-

I also have been working on a personal story but it is just that, personal.
